  • Plan and execute workplace inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Record and report inspection findings in written formats.
  • Prioritise corrective and preventative actions based on critical risks.

3. General Safety Rules in the Workplace:

  • Understand authorised access requirements, lock-out procedures, and safety signage.
  • Address issues related to intoxication and its consequences on workplace safety.
  • Apply rules for motorised and mobile equipment use.

4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Explain the correct use, maintenance, and storage of PPE.
  • Report and replace substandard PPE to ensure functionality.
  • Discuss the limitations and consequences of non-compliance with PPE requirements.

5. Good Housekeeping and Emergency Procedures:

  • Emphasise the importance of cleanliness and organisation in the workplace.
  • Understand emergency communication protocols, escape routes, and assembly points.
  • Plan and participate in simulated emergency exercises to assess readiness.
